Microsoft sets sights on Yahoo! Inc.

Microsoft has made a proposal to acquire Yahoo! Inc. It’s all just speculation at this point; according to Download Squad, Yahoo!’s Board of Directors is evaluating the offer, while stock in the company initially jumped 60% in reaction to the news.

    Indeed only shareholders have something to win from Micro$oft-Yahoo! merge.

    This is really a bad news for the web & for Yahoo! employees (many of them will be “sacrified” in the name of
    “eliminating redundant infrastructure and duplicative operating costs”)
    ;o(

    Money can’t buy everything (in this case Love & Admiration of Internet users).
